Vote Liberal Democrat 3rd May

Nicol, Katy and Ming

Whether you are a regular visitor to my website or this is your first time, I hope you are impressed by what you see. After a slow start, I have now got the hang of posting regular updates (and making sure I have a camera with me at all times). Since I was selected last year, I have visited communities and met a wide variety of interest groups throughout Glasgow Kelvin constituency. I have learned a huge amount about the differing concerns of voters across the constituency.

Since the election campaign proper started, I have been living a whirlwind of public meetings, writing and delivering our local Focus newsletters and welcoming Ming Campbell (UK Party Leader), Nicol Stephen (Scottish Party Leader) and Charles Kennedy (former party leader) to the constituency.

I hope you have been been interested enough by what I have to say to follow the links to find out more about Lib Dem policy. Our party has fought a positive campaign, focused on the issues, particularly being positive about young people, education and the environment. Now it is over to you. I am asking you to do 3 things for me tomorrow:

  • Vote for me as MSP for Glasgow Kelvin constituency (if you live in Glasgow Kelvin, which covers the West End and the whole of the city centre)
  • Vote for the Scottish Liberal Democrats on the Regional List (if you live in Glasgow. This will help to elect me as 2nd on the list)
  • Vote to elect our council candidates in your ward. Those in the constituency are:
    • Abdul Khan and Kenn Elder in Hillhead
    • Christopher Mason in Partick West
    • Ann Laird in Anderston / City

Thank you for your support.
